About a year and a half ago I was fortunate to do Storyboards for a little movie called "Push" which is now called "Precious"! I had a great experience working with Lee Daniels the visionary director behind the movie Shadowboxer and producer of "Monster's Ball. Starring in the film are Mo'Nique, Paula Patton, Lenny Kravitz, Mariah Carey, Kimberly Russell and Sherri Shepherd. Newcomer Gabourey Sidibe is playing the starring role.
The film won three awards at this year's Sundance Film Festival, including the grand jury prize and the audience award in the U.S. dramatic competition.
Directed by Daniels, the film tells the redemptive story of Precious Jones, a young girl in Harlem struggling to overcome tremendous obstacles and discover her own voice.
