Sunday August 25 was a great day!
I met Ivan Sanchez for the first time!
Ivan is a writer who wrote Next Stop: Growing Up Wild-Style in the Bronx.
I also had the pleasure of meeting a great actress named, April Lee Hernandez, of Freedom Writers fame, Ivan and her currently have been visiting schools and talking to students about what their next stop in life is going to be.
I decided to sketch up a poster for them so that they can sign it and give it to kids or collectors.

This particular day Ivan and April spoke to a group of girls called "Las Caras Lindas"
It was great meeting them and I am glad they really enjoyed their posters.
